Brittany Mahomes Shares Heartwarming Moment With Bills QB’s Wife After Chiefs Loss
The Kansas City Chiefs’ undefeated season ended with a 30-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. The tightly contested game saw Josh Allen’s 26-yard rushing touchdown on fourth down secure a two-score lead for the Bills late in regulation. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had one last chance to stage a comeback, but his pass to tight end Travis Kelce was intercepted by Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard, sealing the game.
Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife, attended the primetime showdown at Highmark Stadium. Joining her in the suite was Paige Buechele, wife of Bills quarterback Shane Buechele. Despite the rivalry on the field, Brittany and Paige have a close bond that began when Shane served as Mahomes’ backup for two seasons. Their friendship has remained strong even after Buechele joined the Bills in 2023.
Following the Chiefs’ tough loss, Brittany and Paige shared a joyful reunion. Both women are pregnant—Brittany with her third child and Paige with her first. Paige shared a photo of their baby bumps on Instagram, captioning it, “Gameday with our girls,” and tagged Brittany, who reposted it to her Instagram Stories. The moment was a bright spot in an otherwise intense game.
However, not all interactions between the teams’ families were as warm. After the Bills’ victory, linebacker Baylon Spector’s wife, Ryleigh, took a playful jab at Taylor Swift, who is dating Travis Kelce, despite Swift not being present at the game. Posing with other Bills wives, Ryleigh captioned the photo, “9-2! never a Swiftie.”
Interestingly, not all Bills-affiliated individuals share this sentiment. Just two nights before the game, Josh Allen’s younger sister, Makenna Allen, attended Taylor Swift’s Toronto concert, calling it “The best night.” This contrast highlights the diverse perspectives within the Bills’ community off the field.
