JUST IN: Bills receive mind-blowing update regarding QB Josh Allen

After the Buffalo Bills’ Week 9 victory, quarterback Josh Allen has surpassed Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson as the new favorite for the NFL MVP award. While ClutchPoints does not provide or endorse any form of gambling, it reports Allen’s odds of winning MVP now stand at +290 on Fanduel Sportsbook, with Jackson close behind at +300 and Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes third at +700.

Statistically, Jackson leads Allen in most major categories, with 2,379 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and only two interceptions, plus an additional 505 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Allen, in comparison, has tallied 2,001 passing yards, 17 passing touchdowns, and two interceptions, along with 211 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Despite Jackson’s impressive stats, oddsmakers are weighing Allen’s tougher schedule and higher Super Bowl odds in his favor.

The odds shift followed Buffalo’s narrow 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins, sealed by a game-winning field goal. Although Jackson led the Ravens to a dominant 41-10 win over the Denver Broncos, it was against a weaker opponent.

With the Bills at 7-2 and the Ravens at 6-3, the MVP race remains tight. Mahomes’ Chiefs are also undefeated as they prepare for a Monday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. Strong performances from any of these quarterbacks could tip the MVP odds in their favor.

Riding a four-game winning streak, Allen has a favorable Week 10 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who have struggled to contain passing attacks. The Bills’ offense has been on a roll, scoring over 30 points in three consecutive games and in seven of nine contests this season. Meanwhile, the Colts have dropped their last two games and failed to score more than 20 points for the fourth straight game, falling to 4-5 on the year after their Week 9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
