After the Kansas City Chiefs’ 27-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Andy Reid provided injury updates. Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson left the game with a concussion, while tight end Jody Fortson injured his right knee. Reid mentioned, “We’ll assess Fortson’s injury. Besides that, we’re in good shape. Pat did roll his ankle a bit, but he was okay afterward.”
With Johnson out, Joshua Williams and Chris Roland-Wallace stepped in to play. Fortson was seen leaving the field on crutches, unable to put weight on his knee. Johnson had made five tackles before his exit, and his status will be closely watched as the team prepares for their Week 9 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.”
