As they head into Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season, the Falcons hold an impressive 4-2 record and are ranked eighth in the power rankings, showcasing their competitiveness in the NFC South. Under quarterback Desmond Ridder, the Falcons have developed a potent offense, with Ridder’s ability to extend plays and connect with key players like Drake London and Kyle Pitts enhancing their passing attack. Additionally, the running game, led by Bijan Robinson, remains a strong asset, allowing Atlanta to control the game’s pace and keep defenses off balance.
Defensively, the Falcons have demonstrated resilience, particularly in generating turnovers and pressuring opposing quarterbacks. Their defensive line has performed well, making it difficult for offenses to find their rhythm. However, the secondary’s consistency will be vital as they face tougher passing offenses. Ojulari, who recently excelled against the Bengals with two sacks and multiple tackles, is seen as a potential game-changer. Given that he is in the final year of his rookie contract, acquiring him could be both a strategic and cost-effective move to enhance Atlanta’s playoff chances.
