Nebraska Injury Report: 5 Players Out vs. Purdue

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-1, 0-1) have released their availability report for Saturday’s Big Ten matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers (1-2, 0-0). Five players are ruled out, including kicker Tristan Alvano, who was questionable last week but did not play in the game against Illinois. John Hohl stepped in and missed 1-of-2 field goals, one of which could have changed the outcome before the game went to overtime, where Nebraska lost.

Other players ruled out for Saturday include defensive back Rahmir Stewart, offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua, linebacker Stefon Thompson, and left tackle Turner Corcoran. Additional players who will miss the game, though not officially listed as “out,” include linebacker Javin Wright (undisclosed), wide receiver Demitrius Bell (knee), defensive backs Blye Hill (undisclosed) and Brice Turner (hand), offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka (ACL, out for the season), and defensive back Roger Gradney (ACL, out for the season).

Purdue has 11 players ruled out and two listed as questionable. Among those out are wide receivers Jayden Dixon-Veal, CJ Smith, and Jahmal Edrine, as well as right edge rusher CJ Madden and safety Antonio Stevens.
