JUST IN: Miami Dolphins confirm deal of Pittsburgh Steelers Veteran Quarterback

The Miami Dolphins are facing a quarterback dilemma after starter Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills. With Tagovailoa potentially out for a significant period and possibly considering retirement, the Dolphins may seek to add another quarterback to maintain their playoff push. One option being suggested is Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, who could be losing his starting position on his current team.

NFL fans and analysts have urged the Dolphins to consider signing Wilson, with his experience potentially offering a veteran presence for Miami. Despite Wilson’s struggles since leaving the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, some believe he could still succeed, especially with the offensive weapons the Dolphins have, like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Rex Ryan mentioned on *Get Up* that Miami might look to trade for Wilson with Tagovailoa sidelined. Wilson, who has accumulated 43,653 passing yards and 334 touchdowns in his career, had a challenging stint with the Denver Broncos, partly due to a lack of offensive support. Now a backup to Justin Fields in Pittsburgh, Wilson could be a viable option for Miami if they decide to pursue him.

Although there haven’t been official reports linking the Dolphins to Wilson, many believe it’s a possibility the team could explore.
