Titans Coach Expresses Frustration with Will Levis

Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan is clearly losing patience with quarterback Will Levis after another critical error in the team’s 24-17 loss to the New York Jets. On a 3rd and goal play, Levis tried to extend the play in a collapsing pocket, ultimately fumbling the ball and costing the Titans three vital points. Callahan, visibly upset on the sidelines, did not hold back in his post-game comments.

Speaking the following day, Callahan remained blunt about the situation. “I don’t regret my feelings about it and how I felt in the moment,” he said via ESPN’s Turron Davenport. “I’m usually pretty composed, but that one set me off. I’m human like everyone else. I have blackout moments where I lose it.”

This isn’t the first time Levis has frustrated Callahan. In Week 1, another costly turnover had the coach fuming. Levis has shown a tendency to push for miraculous plays instead of recognizing when to give up on a play for the bigger picture. If this trend continues, it appears Callahan might be losing faith in Levis, with backup Mason Rudolph potentially stepping in if things don’t improve.
