HUGE BOOST: Baylor set to land 25 top commitment deals.

Baylor football is preparing to welcome 25 new players to campus as the spring semester begins. This group includes signees from the program’s 2025 recruiting class, ranked No. 35 in the nation. Among the standout recruits making their move to Waco this weekend are Kamauryn Morgan, Caden Knighten, and Taz Williams Jr., who are expected to make an immediate impact on the team.

The new arrivals reflect Baylor’s efforts to build on its recent success and strengthen the roster for the upcoming season. Head coach Dave Aranda and his staff worked diligently to secure top talent, blending high school standouts with experienced college players from the transfer portal. This approach ensures a balance of youthful potential and veteran leadership as the Bears prepare for the challenges ahead.

In addition to the high school signees, Baylor has added 12 players through the transfer portal during the winter window. These transfers bring valuable experience and proven talent to the team. Notable additions include Walker White, a former five-star quarterback from Auburn, and wide receiver Kobe Prentice, who transfers in from Alabama. Both players are expected to bolster the Bears’ offense significantly.

On the defensive side, Baylor landed a major acquisition in Travion Barnes, the reigning CUSA Defensive Player of the Year. Barnes, known for his playmaking ability and leadership on the field, is poised to make an immediate impact for the Bears. His arrival, along with other defensive additions, addresses key areas of need and strengthens the team’s depth.

As the spring semester begins, Baylor football is optimistic about the future. The combination of a strong recruiting class and impactful transfers sets the stage for a promising season. With a talented group of newcomers joining the program, the Bears aim to continue their growth and compete at a high level in the coming year.
