Auburn football aims to flip 4-star Miami LB commit
Earlier this month, Roc Bellantoni was named Auburn’s outside linebackers coach, stepping into a reshaped coaching staff after offseason departures. Bellantoni, who previously served on Bryan Harsin’s Auburn staff and most recently as the defensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic, hit the ground running in his new role by reaching out to 4-star linebacker Jordan Campbell.
Campbell, a standout from Opa Locka, Florida, is ranked as the No. 4 linebacker in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 10 overall prospect in Florida. Though he committed to Miami in November 2023, he remains open to other opportunities.
On Friday, Campbell made his second visit to Auburn, with upcoming trips to Alabama and Georgia also planned.
“When [Bellantoni] got the job, we talked about me getting up there and my film,” Campbell told Auburn Rivals. “That means a lot to me. It shows how much interest they have and how much they believe in me as a player.”
During the visit, Campbell toured the facilities and gained insight into Auburn’s defensive system, which he found particularly appealing.
“My favorite part was how they showed what they can do for us—how they can change my body in a year,” Campbell said. “They explained their schemes and defenses, which align with what I’m comfortable playing. They use a multiple defense, and I’m used to that.”
With Auburn hosting a major Junior Day recruiting event next weekend, Campbell hinted at the possibility of returning for a third visit to the Plains.
