BREAKING: Just In Alabama lands commitment from highly rated 2025 kicker

Alabama football secured its second commitment of the day on Wednesday, with highly-rated 2025 kicker Peter Notaro announcing his pledge to the Crimson Tide. Notaro, hailing from North Allegheny in Pennsylvania, shared the news on social media and is expected to join the team as a preferred walk-on.

Ranked as the No. 4 kicker in the 2025 class by Kohl’s Professional Camps, Notaro is regarded as a five-star kicker prospect and a 4.5-star punter. Kohl’s assessment praised his strength and improvement, noting his impressive performance at a May Showcase Camp where he scored 13 out of 15 points on field goals and 104.25 points on kick-offs, deeming him a D1 recruit as a kicker.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound kicker chose Alabama over offers from Ohio State, Pitt, and West Virginia. He will join punter Alex Asparuhov in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. Notaro’s longest field goal last season was 47 yards, according to MaxPreps.

Earlier on Wednesday, Alabama also secured a commitment from four-star linebacker Justin Hill. Under head coach Kalen DeBoer, who took over after Nick Saban’s retirement, Alabama’s 2025 class currently ranks No. 2 on the 247Sports composite, second only to Ohio State.
