Good News: Utah Has Confirm Another Deal With A Star Player

Sione Motuapuaka, a 3-star defensive line prospect from Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas, committed to Kyle Whittingham’s Utah football program as the fourth recruit for the 2025 class on Monday. The 6-foot, 250-pound defensive lineman from the renowned Bishop Gorman High announced his decision on social media, expressing his excitement and gratitude following an official visit to Utah. “Found Home! After an amazing Official Visit with @Utah_Football I am blessed and privileged to announce my commitment to @Utah_Football!! Rated as a three-star prospect with an 0.8478 player rating in 247 Sports’ composite rankings, Motuapuaka visited Utah with six other prospects, including three-star quarterback commit Shaker Reisig of Oklahoma. At the time of his commitment, he also had offers from Utah State, Washington State, and Idaho.

In addition to Motuapuaka and Reisig, the Utes’ 2025 class includes quarterback Wyatt Becker and edge rusher Nela Tupou, both from California, with all four recruits rated as three-star prospects by 247 Sports.
