Virginia Tech Football Strengthens Defensive Line with Alabama Transfer Commitment
Virginia Tech received a commitment from Alabama transfer Khurtiss Perry on Tuesday night, further enhancing their defensive line. Following the 2023 season, the Hokies retained key players on both sides of the ball, including defensive linemen Antwaun Powell-Ryland and Josh Fuga. Despite this, head coach Brent Pry sought additional depth through the transfer portal, bringing in Duke transfer Aeneas Peebles, Iowa Western Community College’s Kemari Copeland, and Oklahoma transfer Kelvin Gilliam.
Pry secured a significant commitment from Perry, adding another formidable player to the defensive lineup. Perry’s arrival makes the Hokies’ defensive line one of the deepest in the ACC, providing more options for opposing teams to contend with next season.
