Breaking: Former Saints & LSU Star attempting to make an NFL comeback after year off

A former wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints is making a bid to return to the NFL after a year away from the game. It’s a familiar storyline that often emerges during the offseason, and this time, it involves a former Saint and LSU standout.

Jarvis Landry, who previously played for the Saints, is aiming for an NFL comeback with the Jacksonville Jaguars. At 31 years old, Landry holds a special place in the hearts of Saints fans, thanks to his contributions both with the team and during his college years at LSU. There was considerable excitement among fans when there were calls for the Saints to sign him earlier in his career. Eventually, the Saints did sign him, but unfortunately, the results didn’t quite live up to expectations for both parties.

During his stint with the Saints in 2022, Landry managed just 272 receiving yards on 25 receptions and scored one touchdown. He appeared in nine games, starting three.

Following that 2022 season, Landry stepped away from the game, but now he’s making a comeback attempt with the Jaguars, hoping to provide depth for the team. Despite his challenging season with the Saints, Landry boasts an impressive resume, having been selected to the Pro Bowl five times.

To announce his comeback bid, Landry also released a promotional video, signaling his determination to return to the league.
