The owner of a division rival of the New Orleans Saints, Arthur Blank of the Atlanta Falcons, held discussions with Bill Belichick regarding the head coaching position for the Falcons, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero.
While no formal agreement is currently in place, there is mutual interest, and ongoing conversations are taking place. After spending 24 years with the New England Patriots, Belichick parted ways with the organization, and Jerod Mayo was appointed as the new head coach. It’s worth noting that Belichick boasts eight Super Bowl rings, with two earned as an assistant coach and six as a head coach.
