Buffalo Bills 2025 Free Agency Tracker: Who’s Staying, Who’s Leaving, and What’s Next?

The NFL’s legal tampering period kicks off today at 12:00 PM EST, and Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has already been active in locking down key players. Expect Buffalo to stay busy in free agency as they look to strengthen their roster.

So far, the Bills have secured long-term extensions for four core players: WR Khalil Shakir, LB Terrel Bernard, DE Greg Rousseau, and franchise QB Josh Allen, who signed a record-setting deal guaranteeing him $250 million.

Buffalo has remained committed to its draft-and-develop philosophy, rewarding homegrown talent with significant contracts. However, tough business decisions are part of the process, as seen with the release of veteran pass rusher Von Miller. After three seasons with the Bills, Miller’s departure frees up over $8 million in cap space but leaves behind a $15 million dead cap hit.

Unlike last year, the Bills are in a much better financial position, giving them some flexibility to add impact players. Despite parting ways with several veterans in 2024, Beane still managed to bring in fresh talent—a trend that could continue in this free agency period.

Buffalo’s priorities will likely include adding weapons for Allen in the passing game or reinforcing the defense to maintain their championship aspirations.

Stay tuned as we track all of Buffalo’s key moves during free agency!
