“Bills Assistant Coach Matt Edwards Moves to Jaguars After AFC Championship Loss”
The Buffalo Bills are regrouping after falling short in the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs, ending another season of high expectations with quarterback Josh Allen. Despite playoff victories over the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo’s Super Bowl hopes were dashed once again. defensive line coach position with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Tom Pelissero. Edwards, who spent one season with Buffalo, previously worked with the Las Vegas Raiders (2022-2023) and the Tennessee Titans (2018-2021), where he was part of the special teams staff. Before entering the NFL, Edwards coached at the collegiate level with Miami (Ohio), Kent State, and Florida Atlantic. He will now join Jacksonville’s new coaching staff under head coach Liam Coen, who took the helm after a stint as offensive coordinator with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
