Thielbar’s MLB journey began in 2013 at age 26, and he made an immediate impact. In his rookie season, he recorded an exceptional 1.76 ERA, 0.826 WHIP, and 233 ERA+ over 46 innings, cementing himself as one of the league’s top relievers. In 2014, he maintained his reliability, appearing in 54 games with a 3.40 ERA and 1.406 WHIP, alongside a 116 ERA+ in high-pressure situations.
