Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and offensive tackle Dion Dawkins have earned Pro Bowl selections for the upcoming event in Orlando, Florida. However, the pair hopes to decline the invitation by aiming for a bigger goal: a Super Bowl victory.
Reflecting on their conversation, Dawkins recalled Allen’s congratulations and clear vision. “He said, ‘Congrats, dawg. I’m proud of you and the player you’ve become. You’re an All-Pro tackle. But this is just a small win—let’s focus on the big one,’” Dawkins shared. Allen emphasized celebrating the milestone but keeping their sights set on New Orleans, the host city for Super Bowl LVIII.
Since joining the Bills—Dawkins in 2017 and Allen in 2018—the duo has become integral to the team’s success. Despite consistent playoff appearances, the Bills’ postseason progress has been limited, with their deepest run ending at the AFC Championship in 2020.
Allen and Dawkins are among the most accomplished Bills players, collectively earning seven Pro Bowl nods. Yet, the team remains driven to claim their first-ever Lombardi Trophy. Allen’s determination underscores Buffalo’s hunger to finally reach the NFL’s biggest stage.
The question remains: Can the Bills capitalize on their talent and break through to deliver a championship?
