Josh Allen: Bills Are Ready to Be “Dangerous”
The Buffalo Bills secured a decisive 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium, improving to 10-2 on the season and clinching the AFC East title with five games remaining. The win highlights Buffalo’s dominance this season, but the challenge now is maintaining momentum as the team aims for the AFC’s No. 1 seed.
After defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 30-21 earlier in the season, the Bills are in a strong position to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. For quarterback Josh Allen, clinching the division so early is a unique milestone, allowing the team to shift its focus.
“It’s a good feeling,” Allen said. “This one feels different. With five games left, we can go out there and play free. There’s really no repercussions, but we’re still chasing the No. 1 seed. Playing free, relaxed, and loose—that’s when we’re at our best.”
The Bills are already among the NFL’s most formidable teams, boasting the league’s second-highest-scoring offense (29.6 points per game) and sixth-best defense (18.7 points per game). Now, playing without pressure, they could become even more dangerous.
Securing the top seed in the AFC would ensure the road to the Super Bowl runs through Buffalo, capping what has already been a stellar season. While the team celebrates its early achievements, it remains focused on finishing strong, securing the best possible record, and maintaining its pursuit of playoff dominance.
