Bills Fans Express Concern Over Wide Receiver Injuries
The Buffalo Bills are dealing with injury issues as they prepare for an important game against the Indianapolis Colts, particularly at the wide receiver position. Despite these setbacks, there is hope that the situation could improve. Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper, who has been recovering from a wrist injury, returned to practice this week. Cooper participated in pass-catching drills, signaling that he may be close to making his return to the field soon. While this is positive news for Buffalo, the same can’t be said for rookie wideout Keon Coleman. Head coach Sean McDermott revealed that Coleman, who injured his wrist in the Bills’ 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins, will not be available for Sunday’s game and could miss multiple weeks. “Probably going to be more than just this week,” McDermott stated. “It could extend for several weeks, but we don’t know how long yet.”
While Cooper’s potential return brings optimism, Coleman’s injury is a setback, especially considering the progress he had made in his rookie season. Meanwhile, Cooper has struggled to make a significant impact since the Bills traded for him in October. Despite the challenges in the receiving corps, Bills fans can take comfort in the fact that the team is gradually getting healthier overall, which could provide a boost for quarterback Josh Allen.
