Breaking News: Bills Catch Huge Break as Colts Rule Out Star

The Buffalo Bills caught a major break as the Indianapolis Colts announced that standout receiver Michael Pittman Jr. will miss Sunday’s game due to a back injury. The Bills, aiming to maintain their strong position atop the AFC East, face the Colts with some challenges of their own. Rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman has been ruled out with a wrist injury sustained in the game against the Miami Dolphins, and Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper is also questionable, dealing with a similar wrist issue.

The Colts will also be shorthanded, as Pittman’s absence leaves veteran quarterback Joe Flacco without a key offensive weapon during a crucial game to snap their two-game losing streak. Pittman has struggled this season, tallying 30 catches for 366 yards and two touchdowns. In the past two games, he managed just two catches for 30 yards, although his best game came in Week 4 with Flacco, recording six catches for 113 yards. Against Buffalo in previous matchups, Pittman has posted five catches for 90 yards.

Though Pittman’s numbers have been underwhelming this season, his absence still impacts the Colts’ offense, making it a more balanced matchup given Buffalo’s own receiver issues. Josh Allen and the Bills will need to adjust and find new ways to spread the ball if both Coleman and Cooper are sidelined for Sunday’s clash.
