Just In: Alabama Head Coach Confirm A Veteran Star That Will Be Out Against The Missouri

Alabama football shared its first availability report for the Missouri game on Wednesday, confirming the earlier statement from head coach Kalen DeBoer. Veteran safety Keon Sabb will miss Saturday’s game due to a “lower-extremity injury” sustained during last week’s loss to Tennessee.

“We’re still collecting information,” DeBoer mentioned at his weekly press conference. “However, we anticipate he will be sidelined for a while, potentially for an extended period, and we’ll continue to assess the situation.”

DeBoer expects the remaining defensive backs to be available for Saturday, which likely includes Red Morgan, who is listed as probable.

The only other player on the report is linebacker Cayden Jones, who will be out for a second consecutive week. In contrast, Missouri’s injury report is more troubling.

Tiger quarterback Brady Cook is considered doubtful due to an ankle injury from last week’s game against Auburn, which required an MRI before he returned to lead a comeback win. Additionally, Missouri’s top rusher, Nate Noel, is also listed as doubtful, along with 12 other Tigers on the report.

Alabama and Missouri are set to kick off at 2:45 p.m. CT on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium, with the game airing on ABC.
