Three key starters’ injuries are updated by the Bills.
The Buffalo Bills secured their second straight win on Sunday, defeating the Tennessee Titans 34-10, but a few key starters were injured during the game.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who has already missed several games this season, left the field twice—first with a head injury and later due to an ankle issue. Fellow linebacker Dorian Williams also left in the second half with a knee injury but was able to return. Wide receiver Curtis Samuel played only two snaps before exiting with a shoulder injury and did not return.
After the game, head coach Sean McDermott gave an update, stating, “We’ll see how they do. No updates at this point,” and emphasized that the team would monitor the situation throughout the week. The potential loss of Bernard and Williams would be significant for Buffalo, as Williams is currently fourth in the NFL in tackles and Bernard ranks fourth on the Bills despite missing two games. While Samuel’s injury is less concerning due to his reduced role following the recent acquisition of Amari Cooper, his absence could affect the team’s depth at receiver as the season continues.
