Bills Provide Injury Update on Three Key Starters
The Buffalo Bills secured their second consecutive victory on Sunday, defeating the Tennessee Titans 34-10. However, several starters suffered injuries during the game. Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who has already missed several games this season, left the field multiple times—first with a head injury and then with an ankle injury. Fellow linebacker Dorian Williams exited in the second half due to a knee injury but managed to return. On the offensive side, receiver Curtis Samuel played only two snaps before leaving with a shoulder injury and did not return.
After the game, coach Sean McDermott offered an update on the injured players as they head into practice week, stating, “We’ll see how they do. No updates at this point. We’ll monitor how the week progresses for all three of those guys.” The potential absence of Bernard and Williams would be significant for the Bills, as Williams is currently fourth in the NFL in tackles, while Bernard ranks fourth on the team despite missing two games this season. Losing either or both could create a substantial gap in Buffalo’s defense.
