MAJOR BREAKING: Josh Allen Latest update regarding Progress in Hand Injury Recovery

Josh Allen of the Bills Advances Significantly in His Hand Injury Recovery

The Buffalo Bills will look to build off their win in Week 6 when they face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. They were able to get back on track last week after suffering two-straight losses in prior weeks. Although Josh Allen has been active for every game this season, he has been dealing with an injured left hand since Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Allen has worn a glove on his left hand since suffering the injury. While the injury was to his non-throwing hand, it’s still likely a hinderance for Allen when he’s holding the football.

For the first time since the injury, Allen was seen practicing without the glove on Thursday, suggesting that he is finally making progress in his recuperation. Whether Allen’s hand heals or not doesn’t appear to have had a significant effect on his play. Through six games, Allen has thrown for 1,160 yards, 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. His quarterback rating of 79.2 is the best of any starter in the NFL this season.

Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper, who makes his Bills debut this week against Tennessee, will also provide Allen with additional support starting this week. After the offense failed to establish a legitimate top receiver through the first six games, Buffalo made a deal for Cooper on Tuesday.
