BREAKING NEWS: Veteran three-star tight end commits to Baylor

Three-star tight end Brody Wilhelm has committed to Baylor. After an extensive search, Baylor secured a tight end for their 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday when Austin (Tex.) Westlake’s Brody Wilhelm announced his commitment to the Bears.

Ranked as the No. 108 tight end in the country, Wilhelm made his decision just over a week after receiving Baylor’s offer, though his connection to the program had been developing for months.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound hybrid receiver had offers from Texas State, Navy, and others, but Baylor tight ends coach Jarrett Anderson had been building a strong relationship with Wilhelm, spending considerable time with him at team camps and Westlake before extending a late offer. As a junior, Wilhelm recorded 663 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns on 39 catches, and in the first four games of his senior year, he’s already posted 208 yards and 4 touchdowns.

With Wilhelm on board, Baylor’s 2025 recruiting class is ranked No. 34 nationally and 3rd in the Big 12.
