Duke has landed its first five-star recruits for the Class of 2025, and they come with a special connection to the school. Cameron and Cayden Boozer, twin sons of Duke legend and former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, announced their commitment to the Blue Devils on Friday morning. The Boozer twins chose Duke over schools like Kentucky, North Carolina, Miami, and Arkansas, and will aim to bring a national title to the program, just as their father did in 2001.
The twins revealed their decision in a video posted on The Player’s Tribune X account, enthusiastically declaring, “That’s the move. Go Blue Devils. Cameron Crazies, be ready for next season. Yes sir, Duke nation baby.”

According to 247Sports rankings, Cameron Boozer is the No. 2 overall prospect and the top-ranked power forward in the Class of 2025, while Cayden ranks No. 21 overall and is the No. 4 point guard. With these commitments, Duke looks poised to secure the top recruiting class for the second consecutive year, following their No. 1 ranked 2024 class, led by Cooper Flagg, the top player in the country.
Since taking over from Mike Krzyzewski in 2022, head coach Jon Scheyer has successfully recruited 13 five-star athletes. Duke is hoping to end a nine-year national championship drought, with their last title in 2015.
