BREAKING NEWS: Another devastating season ending injury from Bengals key player

Joe Burrow is still dealing with lingering effects from the wrist injury he sustained last season. He tore a ligament in his right wrist in Week 11 and had season-ending surgery. Although it’s been nearly 11 months since the procedure, Burrow admits he hasn’t fully recovered.

During the Week 6 “Sunday Night Football” broadcast between the Bengals and Giants, NBC’s Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth discussed Burrow’s wrist situation. NBC showed footage of Burrow shaking his right hand while throwing during warmups, and they mentioned his comments from earlier in the week.

Burrow told the media, “I’m still not quite throwing it the way I would like,” as reported by the Bengals’ official site. He acknowledged making good decisions and placing the ball where he wants but believes there’s room for improvement in his ball rotation and spin rate as he continues to recover.

Joe Burrow signals thumbs up

Despite these issues, Burrow’s performance during the game against the Giants didn’t show any obvious signs of struggle, with his passes looking sharp and precise. However, Burrow knows he’s not back to 100% and is still working towards regaining his peak form.
