BREAKING NEWS: New York Jets confirm deal of a new Head Coach

The New York Jets, who are set to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in two weeks, have fired their head coach, Robert Saleh, following a 2-3 start to the season. Jets owner Woody Johnson made the decision to part ways with Saleh, promoting defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to serve as interim head coach.

The firing reportedly came as a surprise to many within the organization, especially since Saleh had led team meetings on Monday and expressed confidence about their chances against the Buffalo Bills. However, the Jets’ 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in London ultimately sealed Saleh’s fate. Despite the team’s defense being ranked in the top five under Saleh’s leadership, their offense has struggled, largely due to poor offensive line performance and a lack of weapons for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The team has also shown interest in acquiring Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams. The Jets now aim to regroup as they prepare to face the Bills this Sunday, hoping to build momentum before their primetime matchup against Pittsburgh.
