Browns Fans React to Heartbreaking Season-Ending Injury
The Cleveland Browns are off to a tough 1-3 start, with their franchise quarterback struggling both on the field and facing renewed off-the-field controversies. Adding to their challenges, defensive end Alex Wright is now out for the rest of the 2024 season. Wright revealed on social media that he tore his tricep, an injury that stemmed from a joint practice this summer. He first experienced pain during the Week 2 game against the Jaguars and initially continued playing after an MRI. However, a follow-up MRI confirmed the severity of the injury.
Wright had been productive in the first four weeks, recording eight tackles and a sack, which came against Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence for a safety. Drafted in the third round of the 2022 draft, Wright has totaled 61 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries throughout his career.
