Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is dealing with an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, according to Paul Kuharsky. Kuharsky noted that it would be unlikely for Levis to play if the Titans had a game this week, but he’s expected to be ready after the team’s bye. Offensive coordinator Brian Callahan confirmed that Levis will be the starting quarterback when healthy, meaning he’ll likely be under center for the Week 6 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

While the Week 5 bye initially seemed poorly timed, it now provides Levis with a valuable opportunity to recover. If Levis isn’t ready, Mason Rudolph would step in, and although Rudolph may give the team a better chance to win in the short term, the focus this season is on Levis’ development.
