He’s played in 154 of the Yankees’ 156 games this year and is having one of the best seasons of his career, hitting an impressive .323/.458/.695. With the playoffs looming, giving Judge some time off could ensure he’s fresh for October.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are visiting Yankee Stadium this weekend, and rookie sensation Paul Skenes is set to pitch. After a much-anticipated but underwhelming All-Star Game showdown, where Judge grounded into a force out against Skenes, fans are eager to see him take another shot at the rookie’s triple-digit fastball before the season wraps up.
