JUST IN: More frustration for Denver Broncos as Sean Payton reports another horrible injury of top experienced star.

The first injury report of Week 3 for the Denver Broncos is bound to frustrate fans. Although it’s only Wednesday and initial reports can be overanalyzed, the list still causes concern. Teams are required to report all injuries, major or minor. However, this week’s report will likely upset fans because of one key player: Greg Dulcich.

Dulcich, who has already struggled with injuries throughout his young NFL career, appeared on the Week 3 report with knee and ankle issues. Although he was listed as a “limited” participant in practice—better than not participating at all—it’s still alarming given his history. Dulcich missed most of his first two seasons due to hamstring and foot injuries, and it’s clear that no one is more frustrated by these recurring issues than he is.

The Broncos’ offseason strategy relied heavily on Dulcich staying healthy, as they made no major moves at the tight end position other than re-signing Adam Trautman, who is also on this week’s injury report. This only adds to the mounting frustration.

Dulcich also had a forgettable performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with three receptions on eight targets and several drops. Many had high hopes for him after his promising rookie season in 2022, but injuries have continued to hinder his progress.

Greg Dulcich isn’t the only source of concern on this week’s injury report. Baron Browning, a fourth-year EDGE player, was listed as a “DNP” and is unlikely to play against the Buccaneers. The Broncos even promoted Dondrea Tillman and signed Andrew Farmer, which could signal a longer-term issue for Browning, although the severity of his foot injury remains unclear. Fans are hoping for a week-to-week situation with him, but only time will tell.
