USC secured a major defensive addition for their 2025 class with the commitment of four-star linebacker Ty Jackson from Loxahatchee, Florida, on Sunday. Jackson is among the nation’s top linebackers, boasting 135 tackles (including 4 for loss), 2 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and a
fumble recovery. On offense, he also caught 15 passes for 257 yards and 5 touchdowns, along with scoring on two kickoff returns. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, Jackson is ranked as the No. 199 overall prospect and the No. 20 linebacker by 247Sports, and No. 99 overall and No. 13 linebacker in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
