Vikings Coach Provides Update on Justin Jefferson
Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell offered an update on Justin Jefferson’s condition on Monday. Jefferson had a standout performance with 137 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ 23-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, including a 97-yard touchdown reception from Sam Darnold. However, Jefferson exited the game in the third quarter with a thigh contusion.

O’Connell reported that Jefferson was “feeling pretty good” on Monday and is considered day-to-day. Jefferson himself expressed on Sunday that he wasn’t overly worried about the injury.
In contrast, the situation with Jordan Addison is less clear. Addison, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 1 and missed the Week 2 game, will be managed cautiously. The undefeated Vikings are set to play the Texans in Week 3.
