JUST IN: Paul Finebaum makes ground breaking announcement involving Gators Head Coach

Paul Finebaum has called for Florida Gators head coach Billy Napier to be fired following a humiliating loss, arguing that the program should part ways with him sooner rather than later. After a 33-20 defeat to Texas A&M, which wasn’t as close as the score suggests, Florida’s record dropped to 1-2.

They also suffered a 41-17 blowout loss to Miami in their opener, with their only win coming against FCS team Samford. Speaking on The Matt Barrie Show, Finebaum said, “They can’t afford to keep Billy Napier; he’s been a complete failure. Saturday’s performance was similar to the season opener, and there’s no reason to think things will improve.” Napier was booed by fans after the loss, which he accepted, acknowledging the criticism that comes with coaching a team with Florida’s history and expectations.

In his tenure at Florida, Napier has a 6-11 record against SEC teams and is 12-16 overall. The Gators face a challenging schedule ahead, including games against several top-10 teams like Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, and Ole Miss.
