The Philadelphia Phillies have reinstated All-Star third baseman Alec Bohm from the 10-day injured list ahead of their 2-1 victory over the New York Mets on Sunday, the final game of their three-game series. To make space on the 28-man roster, catcher Aramis Garcia was designated for assignment.
Bohm, 28, had been on the injured list since Sept. 6 (retroactive to Sept. 3) due to a left-hand strain. In his return, he went 1-for-4 with a single during Sunday’s win.
