BREAKING NEWS: Aaron Judge exceptional season on the run for another historical record.

Aaron Judge is once again chasing home run history. After a record-breaking season two years ago, he’s managed to elevate his performance even further in 2024.

As the captain of the New York Yankees, Judge is on a historic pace this season, having recently hit two home runs against the Colorado Rockies to bring his total to 51, which is nine more than Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who currently holds second place.

Judge is on track to surpass 60 home runs for the second time in three seasons. In 2022, he set a new American League record with 62 home runs, edging out Yankees legend Roger Maris’ 61 from 1961. With one month left in the regular season, Judge has a chance to set another record.

While Judge is making a mark in AL history, he still has a significant gap to close to reach the pinnacle of MLB home run records.

Here’s how Judge’s current pace compares to other legendary sluggers for the most home runs in a single MLB season.
