Charlotte Jones warmly welcomed CeeDee Lamb back to the Dallas Cowboys as the star wide receiver returned to team facilities to sign his blockbuster contract. Lamb, who has officially rejoined the Cowboys, posed for a photo with Jones, the team’s executive vice president and chief brand officer, after arriving on Tuesday. His return coincided with the team finalizing its 53-man roster for the 2024 season.
Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million contract extension, which includes $100 million guaranteed and a record-breaking $38 million signing bonus, the largest ever for an NFL wide receiver. Excitement surrounds Lamb’s return to the locker room and reunion with his teammates, but Jones was especially thrilled to see him, greeting him with a big hug and snapping a photo captioned, “Look who is home!”
Lamb is coming off the best season of his career, leading the NFL with 135 receptions and amassing 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with two rushing touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Pro honors and was selected to his third Pro Bowl.
As the Cowboys prepare for the 2024 NFL season, they will kick off on Sunday, September 8, against the Cleveland Browns. The game will also mark Tom Brady’s broadcasting debut on FOX.
