BREAKING: FSU Lands Another Dangerous Commitments for a five Star Player

FSU Football: Four-Star RB Byron Louis Sets Commitment Date

Byron Louis, a four-star running back in the Class of 2025, has announced his commitment date. Florida State’s recruiting efforts for the 2025 class have slowed slightly since securing four-star wide receiver Malik Clark from Rock Hill, South Carolina, on July 25th. The Seminoles currently hold the 18th spot in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.

With Florida State focusing on their upcoming 2024 season opener against Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland, recruiting efforts have taken a temporary backseat. However, the coaching staff continues to work diligently to build for the future, as college football recruiting is a year-round process.

One key target for the Seminoles in the 2025 cycle is Byron Louis from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Louis will be featured in a game against Milton High School tonight, a school that includes four-star wide receiver commit CJ Wiley. Louis’s highlight reel includes a long touchdown run that showcases his impressive speed.

Florida State has a strong track record of recruiting talented playmakers, with recent additions like four-star running backs Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy. As current players such as Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, and Roydell Williams will be leaving after this season, securing Louis would be a significant boost for the program.

Louis, who is teammates with four-star cornerback commit Gregory “Zae” Thomas, has announced that he is considering Florida State, Miami, Georgia, and Wisconsin, with a commitment date set for September 21st. Analysts currently favor Florida State, especially after the Seminoles secured his final official visit of the summer on June 21st.

It’s worth noting that Florida State plays California at home on September 21st, which could provide an opportunity for Louis to visit the campus and potentially commit to the Seminoles, where he would join his high school teammate Gregory “Zae” Thomas and reconnect with former head coach Patrick Surtain Sr.
