Justin Turner has expressed strong interest in the possibility of returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Turner, who last played at Dodger Stadium in 2022, was warmly welcomed back by fans during a recent visit. The Dodgers honored him with a pregame ceremony, where he reflected on his time with the team, calling it one of the highlights of his career. Turner, accompanied by his wife Kourtney and their son Bo, who was born on July 4th, was presented with a $10,000 check for his foundation and three framed photos of his memorable moments as a Dodger.
Addressing the crowd, Turner expressed deep gratitude for the nine years he spent with the team, calling it one of the most special times of his life. The veteran third baseman, who is strongly associated with the Dodgers by fans, mentioned that he would love to return to the organization in the future if given the chance. He emphasized that being from Southern California and having played for the Dodgers was a significant part of his life and that he would seriously consider any opportunity to come back.
Turner was originally brought to Los Angeles in 2014 and quickly became an essential part of the team, including hitting a walk-off home run in the 2017 World Series against the Chicago Cubs and making key defensive plays during the 2020 postseason that led to the Dodgers’ championship win. Despite the confusion that followed his departure in 2022, Turner remains open to the idea of returning home to Los Angeles whenever the opportunity arises.
