JUST IN: Indiana Hoosiers confirm a blockbuster five star player deal

Scouting Update: Indiana Basketball’s Pursuit of Four-Star Center Eric Reibe

In recent weeks, Eric Reibe, a four-star center from the 2025 class, has become Indiana’s top target for the post position. Originally from Germany, Reibe has scheduled an official visit to Indiana on October 4, as reported by 247Sports’ Eric Bossi. Reibe first caught the Hoosiers’ attention last summer, and his recruitment has recently intensified, with head coach Mike Woodson and his staff eager to secure his commitment.

Previously, Malachi Moreno was Indiana’s primary target for the 2025 center position, but he committed to Kentucky last week.

Indiana assistant coach Kenya Hunter traveled to Phoenix during the first July evaluation period to watch Reibe, despite Reibe being sidelined with an injury. Hunter attended several Team Museum games to demonstrate Indiana’s strong interest in Reibe, even though he wasn’t participating. Reibe, who took an official visit to Creighton last year, is also planning visits to Kansas, UConn, North Carolina, Oregon, and Indiana, according to Bossi.

Reibe’s Journey and Performance

Born in Germany, Reibe moved to Switzerland at a young age before returning to Germany alone at 14 to pursue basketball. At 16, he relocated to the United States to further his basketball career.

Reibe currently attends Bullis School in a Washington, D.C. suburb, where he studies alongside track gold medalist Quincy Wilson. He played a key role in Bullis achieving a 27-3 record, although they narrowly lost in double overtime to DeMatha Catholic in the private school state final. Reibe had one of his best performances in that game, scoring 26 points and making four of five three-pointers.

Peegs.com observed Reibe in person at the 2024 Pangos All-American Camp in June. For this scouting report, games from Bullis School’s last high school season, Team Museum games from May, and NBPA Top 100 Camp games were reviewed.
