During his three years at LSU, O’Bryant III played under coaches Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones, earning first-team All-SEC honors in 2013 and 2014.
Over those three seasons, the Tigers secured 57 wins and competed in the NIT in 2012 and 2014.
O’Bryant III is among 44 LSU players to surpass the 1,000-point mark, scoring 1,157 points with an average of 12.7 points per game in 91 career games. He also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game. After being drafted in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, he played four seasons in the NBA for Milwaukee, Denver, and Charlotte, averaging 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds across 147 games.
O’Bryant III went on to play internationally, including stints with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he won the 2019 Israeli League Championship, as well as teams in the Russian basketball league, the Adriatic League, Turkey, the Korean Basketball League, and most recently in the Chinese Basketball Association and Japan.
