A three-star defensive tackle has committed to LSU football for the Tigers’ 2025 recruiting class. Dilan Battle, a 6-foot-2, 315-pound lineman from Arlington, Texas, announced his commitment on Monday. Ranked as the No. 597 prospect in the nation by the 247Sports composite, Battle joins a position group of need for LSU.
With this commitment, LSU defensive line coach Bo Davis now has three interior defensive linemen in the 2025 class: Battle, along with four-star recruits Brandon Brown and Zion Williams. This brings LSU’s recruiting class to 22 players, currently ranked No. 3 in the nation, with Battle being the 11th defensive player in the group. LSU has secured seven commitments in the past month.
Addressing the need for defensive tackles, Davis aims to build depth at the position, reducing the team’s dependence on the transfer portal for starters.
