Talented wide receiver Isaiah Mozee has committed to Nebraska after initially being recruited by Oregon. Mozee, a 6’1″, 185-pound wideout from Lees Summit, MO, made the switch after Nebraska added his father, Jamar Mozee, as a senior football assistant, specifically working with wide receivers.
Oregon has a strong track record of recruiting top-tier skill players, and it’s easy to see why Mozee was on their radar. His film shows a balanced, smooth runner who can break tackles with ease, which is why he’s often utilized as a running back. His frame already appears college-ready, though he could benefit from refining the nuances of playing wide receiver at the next level. Nebraska, which has often had to rely on young receivers due to depth issues, will be pleased to have a player of Mozee’s potential, as learning on the fly in the Big Ten can be challenging.
Mozee is expected to be an important addition to Nebraska’s strong recruiting class, helping to enhance a wide receiver group that is quickly becoming a team strength. His connection to the Kansas City area, a region where Nebraska has struggled to recruit in the past, could also open new opportunities for the Huskers in this key location.
