GOOD NEWS: Just In Nebraska Announces Another Top Commitment

Jeremiah Jones is set to announce his college commitment on Monday, with Louisville and Nebraska as his top choices. This decision follows his recent official visit to Nebraska, which left a strong impression on him.

Jones shared his excitement about the visit on social media, highlighting his surprise at how much he liked Lincoln. “The Nebraska experience was amazing,” he said. “I thought it would just be cornfields, but the city is nice and much bigger than I expected. The visit was crazy, and the people—from the players to the food—were great.”

Nebraska is particularly interested in Jones’ versatility. At 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, he could play the rover position or even transition to outside linebacker. As a defender for Murray High, Jones has demonstrated a knack for getting to the ball, with multiple takeaways in his career. His experience as a defensive back could also be valuable if he needs to cover tight ends or running backs at the linebacker position.

3-Star Athlete Commits to Nebraska Football Over Louisville

Nebraska has already recruited similar players for the 2025 class, including Pierce Mooberry, who is moving from defensive back to outside linebacker. The Huskers had success with the rover position last year, with Isaac Gifford excelling in the role.

The last two 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions favor Nebraska to land Jones.
