Four Dodgers Who Should Be on the Trade Block Ahead of the 2024 Deadline
The Los Angeles Dodgers are well-versed in navigating the MLB Trade Deadline. Fortunately for them, they are often buyers rather than sellers. Historically active during recent deadlines, they seem poised to maintain that trend this season.
The Dodgers have reportedly already been making calls, reaching out to less competitive teams about trading some of their top assets. One such team is the Chicago White Sox. According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Dodgers have inquired about pitcher Garrett Crochet.
With a strong record of 52-33 and a 7.5-game lead in the National League West, the Dodgers remain one of the top teams in MLB. They are expected to make several new additions before the deadline. As buyers, the players they put on the trade block will differ from those of selling teams. The Dodgers are likely to dip into their deep farm system, but there could also be at least one current roster member available for trade.
