Five-star cornerback Dijon Lee has committed to Alabama football, providing a significant boost to head coach Kalen DeBoer’s first full recruiting class. Lee, who plays at Mission Viejo High School in California, chose Alabama over other top programs, including Texas and Georgia.
Lee announced his commitment via a live stream on Instagram from Mission Viejo.
According to 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, Lee excels in press coverage and has strong footwork and change of direction for a tall cornerback. He is also noted for his physicality in run support and his ability to make big hits. During his junior year, Lee recorded 55 tackles (22 solo), two interceptions, and 13 pass breakups.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Lee is ranked as the No. 4 cornerback nationally for the 2025 class and is the top player from California, according to the 247Sports composite. He is also rated 22nd overall in the nation.
Lee is the 20th commitment in Alabama’s 2025 class and the second cornerback, joining four-star Chuck McDonald, who is also from California. Additionally, Lee is the second five-star player in Alabama’s 2025 class, following linebacker Darrell “Duke” Johnson.
