Three-Star 2025 WR Jaivon Solomon Commits to Duke

Jaivon Solomon has committed to Duke following an official visit this past weekend. The highly-rated three-star wide receiver from Jones County High School in Gray, GA, quickly made his decision after spending two days at Duke. On Sunday, shortly after leaving campus, the 6’1″, 170-pound receiver announced his commitment to the Blue Devils.

“The atmosphere felt like I was part of the team already,” Solomon shared with TheDevilsDen.com. “I loved how I can get an education and play football with a balanced approach.”

Solomon chose Duke over more than ten other offers, including Pittsburgh, Memphis, and Coastal Carolina. Following his commitment, 247Sports.com rated him an 87, though other recruiting services have yet to provide their ratings.

Academics played a significant role in Solomon’s decision. “A great education is just as good as being part of a great team,” he explained.

Solomon confirmed to TheDevilsDen.com that his recruitment is now closed.

He is the second wide receiver to commit to Duke in the 2025 class, joining fellow high three-star Gerritt Kemp, who committed earlier this month. They will team up with running back Javin Gordon and tight end Bradley Gompers, along with quarterback Dan Mahan, to shape the future of Duke’s offense.
