In a surprising turn of events, Kansas State Wildcats head football coach Chris Klieman has announced his departure from the program. This move marks the end of an impactful tenure that began in 2019, during which Klieman led the Wildcats to significant achievements, including a Big 12 Championship and a 10-win season.

Klieman’s departure follows the exit of several key staff members and players, contributing to an atmosphere of change within the program. Offensive coordinator Collin Klein had previously left for Texas A&M, and now the Wildcats will face the challenge of maintaining stability and success under new leadership​
